About Me

My Name is Liv.

I am an poet, and I know it.  I am addicted to the "Liv-Perfected" Hazelnut Macchiato, so addicted in fact that my local Starbucks barista knows my name and my usual order.  I love shoes, and I firmly believe that one can never have too many shoes.  I love words and rhymes.  I love reading and 'riting, but I loathe 'rithmetic.  I love the 1950s, especially poodle skirts and '57 chevy bel air convertibles.  I love reading fantasy and sci-fi, but I also love biographies.

I am an aspiring teacher with the love of both language and fashion.  My goal is to help people understand that both beauty and brains can work together in a fabulous way.  Fashion is a hobby of mine and my best friends have recently pulled me into blogging about it.  Language is a life long love that I am hoping to make a career and spread my love for it to future generations.

Here on this blog I hope you will find exciting and useful information in regards to fashion and interesting and thought provoking posts that revolve around anything to do with language, reading, and literature.

My motto is Carpe diem, Dear.  I have chosen this as my mantra because it goes hand-in-hand with language and luxury.  It is never too late to seize the day in both of these areas of life.  I firmly believe that you can never be too educated and you can never be over dressed.  Life is too short to sit back and watch other people seize your dreams.  It's time that you do it yourself.

So, with that said,
Carpe diem, Dear.

(I love other people's feedback and warmly welcome your questions or comments.  If you have beauty tips or riveting reads that I must try please let me know what I am missing!)
